DECA Finance Practice Exam

A financial manager's primary responsibility is to control financial activities of a company, which involves overseeing the organization's financial health and ensuring that its financial resources are utilized effectively. This includes tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, analyzing financial data, and making investment decisions. Financial managers play a crucial role in maintaining liquidity, managing risks, and ensuring that the company meets its financial obligations.

While developing marketing strategies, overseeing human resources, and managing public relations are important functions of a business, they fall outside the purview of financial management. These areas are typically handled by professionals who specialize in marketing, human resources, and public relations, respectively. The financial manager focuses on the financial aspects, ensuring that financial strategy aligns with the overall business objectives.
